Children’s Immunisation

Preparing your child for life.

There are prerequisites for your child entering school ages and beyond. Through the immunisation schedule, our practice nurse will guide and support you and your family through it all. Starting at birth, your child will be immunised to protect themselves and others against previously harmful diseases, including Mumps, Rubella, Measles, hepatitis B, Meningococcal, Whooping cough, Pertussis and Smallpox.

These will be administered at various ages of your child, includings: 6 weeks, 3months, 6months, 12 month and 18 months. They will be able to receive further immunisations during their schooling years, whether through the medical center or their school.

For medicare rebates and child care subsidies, it is imperative your child is fully immunised before commencement.

This is in conjunction with seasonal flu vaccinations.
